Gavin was taken when he was roughly 12 years old. He liked to wonder in the woods behind his house with friends, but he loved to go exploring by himself even more. He would wonder miles from his home, especially in the Summers when he was free from the boredom of school. Gavin really hated school. His father had taught him how to be quiet in the woods as a child, and so he would attempt to sneak up on animals and birds in his wild forays into his little pocket of woodsy unknown. It was this curiousity, and sense of exploration, that eventually lead to his downfall, and his imprisonment by the True Fae.

He stumbled upon an old creek bed, and followed it up to its source, which was a densely overgrown cave. Sneaking into the dark depths, the last thing he remembers from his capture was an intense feeling of dread, and the realization that he wasn't fleeing fast enough towards the daylight when he was taken...

In Arcadia, Gavin spent most of his time in the Darkness, suffering through unimaginable tortures. His mind has thankfully forgotten most of them, but he suffers sleep terrors where he glimpses the stark painful reality of his stay in that other world. He almost always wakes up in a sweat, feeling the anger in his heart for all the indignity and misery that he suffered at his Master's whims. He never knew his Master's name, or even saw his face, as it was always cloaked in darkness. He does remember however the insane laughter that echoed in the dark halls that were his prison.

Gavin feels that he has been treated unfairly, in many unheard of ways, and is angry at the world and at life. Why him? He'd never know truly, but at the core he is angry at himself for going into that cave, when deep down, in his core, he knew darkness and something not-quite-right dwelled down in the depths. If he could only go back... but of course he can't, and each day when the alarm sounds, he is reminded that things will never be the same, and he must use his rage to get him through every day.

Physical description:
Gavin's true visage Mein is one of straight lank hair, dark blue skin, tiny horns that travel the center of his head like a mohawk, and he has 6 fingers on each of his hands.

His Mask is one of a 5'8" average looking male, with blue eyes, and brown short hair parted on the right. He weighs 200 pounds, but he has broad shoulders and a large chest that hides his gut when wearing a t-shirt.

Personality:
Gavin can be quite sarcastic, using his anger to fuel his biting comments. Sometimes he can be grumpy, but by and large he aims to treat the people he meets kindly, unless he must do otherwise for his own survival. Gavin dreams of killing one of the True Fae, if they ever try to take him again.

Gavin had a mother, a father, a younger brother, and a younger sister.

Looks good, although you seem to have missed a dot of contracts.
I really enjoyed your backstory, as well.

I only count 4. You have the first 2 of hearth, and the first in darkness and fleeting summer. You can get an extra dot in any contract.
