I chose the title cause I met this horrible troll of a woman not naming names she know who she is stated and I qoute "oh god can't bielive I never got into D&D before it's better than sex"

from that I tried so hard to get into it and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't due to said remark since then I always concidered it a waste of time so what I want to know is what colour are your shoes?

lol nah I want input what your guys experiance to D&D and if you guys concider it a waste or a good game

I've only played 3.5 (haven't broken down and bought 4th edition yet) but it's awesome. My personal favorite RPG.

It's fun system in a genre with many fun systems. I would, by no means, say it's better than sex, but it works well enough, and it's popular enough to be considered a lingua Franca of the roleplaying world. Personally, I enjoy the flexibility of the d20 modern sytem and it's variants, but D&D is what got me into roleplaying, and I still enjoy 3.5 as one of my favorite game systems. If you're speaking of 4th Edition however, it was not to my taste.
